Commercial Applicators
CEU’s may not be accrued prior to obtaining certification. All certifications will expire on June 30, 2026 if the required number of CEU’s are not accrued. All CEU’s cannot be accrued in one certification year (Ending June 30th each year). The only exception is if you obtain certification in the last year of the certification cycle, however you would be required to attend a minimum of two approved events. REPEAT, All CEU’s cannot be accrued in one certification year unless you became certified in the 3rd year of the cycle.
A PDF file concerning points may be obtained from TDA’s website and is found here
Individuals certified on or after July 1, 2023 will be certified through June 30, 2026 and may begin accruing CEU’s on July 1, 2023. You cannot earn more than 75% of your total point requirement at any one school/event. No more than 50% of the total required number of CEU’s can be ‘In-House’ CEU’s. To recertify by accrual of CEUs, applicators in all service categories except C07 must attend at least half of the required CEUs as external trainings. C07 applicators must attend at least two-thirds (14 points) of the required CEUs as external trainings beginning July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2026.
Note: In the certification cycle which runs from July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2026, individuals with category 7 certification, will only need 21 CEUs/Points to roll their certification into the 2026-2029 certification cycle. However, individuals with category 7 certification will be required to obtain 14 of the required 21 points as external credit.
